The department started as a General course in 2019.

The subject is multi-disciplinary in nature.

The department provides access to Seminar Library.

The department conducts seminars throughout the academic session.

After completion of graduation, eligible students can pursue post-graduation and subsequently appear for competitive examinations like SSC, CSC, NET, SET.

Those interested in teaching profession can join B.Ed or M.Ed courses.
